Ignite Kids is the children's ministry at New Image Church for children ages 4 - 5th grade, where we let our light shine!

We believe that every person (Including Kids!) was created by God on purpose and has a life that has been set apart by God to accomplish something that has never been done. (Psalm 139:16)

Our Vision: Is to see kids excited about Jesus and help them develop a relationship with God that will last for the rest of their lives!

 

Ignite Kids: (ages 4 to 5th grade) Class is specifically designed with your child in mind. We want to blow the myth out of the water that church is boring and have created an environment that will leave your child hungry for more of God.

 

Each week your child will receive Bible based teachings combined with fun and creative elements such as; object talks, interactive story telling, media, games, dance, praise, worship, altar time, and whatever else God lays on our hearts.

 

Our goal is to come alongside parents to help develop good spiritual habits for the child. We love to reward for doing what is asked of them to do or for going above and beyond what’s asked.

 

We encourage each child to bring their Bibles, learn the memory verses, bringing any handouts back-completed, as well as acts of kindness and love towards others.

 

Leaders:

 

Adults: To ensure the safety of every child every volunteer that is 18yrs of age and older has to go through a screening process that includes a national background check as well as filling out an application with references that are contacted.

 

We want to ensure the safety of every child which is our top priority!

 

Student Disciples: This program is for our youth (6th– 12th grade) that want to learn how to minister to kids or just want to serve. Our youth play a big part in our services, they run different areas of the ministry such as; helping lead praise & worship, they are involved at the altar, in our sound/lighting room, setup and tear down, helping run games, or hanging out with 1st time guests for the service. It’s a great opportunity to keep them connected but there are requirements to be able to serve, for more detail see Britney, our Children’s Director.

 

Registration: Every week we have every child register at the front desk before being allowed in the classrooms, this helps us know who exactly is in each class, which plays apart in the safety of your child. Each parent is given a specific and randomly generated code for the pick up process.

 

If you are interested in working with our children's ministries, and have not gone through our screening process, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator - Crysti Hood.

 

1st time Guests: We ask that when you do come visit us at Ignite Kids, you go to the designated Guest area to fill out the registration form for your children. This form will have information that we need to help ensure the safety of your children.
